Arrow buys Nu Horizons for its Asia-Pac presence

Arrow is buying Nu Horizons in an all cash deal which values the latter at more than $100million.

"This acquisition builds on our strategy to expand our global capabilities, especially in the fast growing Asia-Pacific region," said Arrow's president and ceo Michael Long.

Nu Horizons has sales facilities in more than 50 locations across North America, Asia, and Europe and regional logistics centers throughout the globe, serving markets ranging from industrial and military to data communications.
Martin Kent, Nu Horizon's recently appointed ceo and president, said: "To compete successfully in today's global marketplace, size and scale are very important. We are pleased to become part of a leading global company with enhanced resources. Arrow's world class operational capabilities and supply chain will enable Nu Horizons to continue to deliver industry leading value to our customers."
Nu Horizons' sales in its last fiscal year were $671m.
